I’m leaning towards that as well, I’ve got my stock 18s on KO2s already that came with the truck. I’m thinking about getting aftermarket wheels and run 275/70/18 Grabber ATX in an SL load. The tire weigh 46lbs and wheels I’m looking at weighs 26 lbs so should feel better driving than the KO2s.

When I take it off-roading I’ll spend 20-30 minutes swapping on the other set. Now I have to explain to my wife that we need this more than a new washer and dryer.

Felt the same way about the 200 after driving a 2000 ,100 for 350k ..so kept the 350k truck and bought an 06 with 185k , gave the 350k truck to daughter to take to College wife drives 06 now looking for another 100 for me to compliment my gen 1 tundra

Need some help, wife says our 06lx driver seat moves on the tracks when braking, have the seat out putting seat covers on and can’t see any issues that may cause this anyone else have this problem..( doesn’t do it when i drive it) it does some very slight movement as compared to our 00 with 350k

What did that do to your aceleration and braking and mpg? I'm 90% commuting 10% offroad so i don't know what to do about tires right now.
I have an older 100 (not a 5 speed like yours), a 2001 with a 4 speed tranny (with 4.88s), acceleration is about the same maybe a little slower. I don't track gas mileage anymore but I can get about 300 miles per tank if it's all freeway going 75ish. I now have a pinch weld rub when turning hard left and hard right and found yesterday when I ran over a big pot hole I now have a 12 a clock rub (I have 17x8 30mm wheels). Will be doing the pinch weld mod and upper fender liner massage that @hoser talked about. Looking at where the 12 a clock rub is, it could probably be mitigated with higher offset wheels (maybe 35 or 40mm?). I'm running AHC with a 1/4 or 1/2" sensor lift. I have a custom alignment, stock UCA's with caster almost maxed with camber almost 0 and 0 toe. If the pinch weld mod and upper liner mod get rid of the rubbing with normal driving, I'll be a happy camper.

What size tires?

I found a set of genuine TRD PRO forged wheels on FB Marketplace. They were 40 minutes away but worth the drive

Going to add 275/70/18 Grabber ATX SL load and These will be my daily driver set while the KO2 on the stock 18s will be when i hit the trails

What width spacers?

So i added another 100 Series to my stable, it's a 2007 LC without factory AHC. Seems they are rare without this option, Florida car, 2 owners with so many service records it's crazy. over 16 pages documented on carfax, they even had both cats replaced at 175K miles, that can't be cheap at the dealership.

Ive no idea at this point, all i know is if my wife finds out why our washer and dryer barely works and im buying another cruiser we're gonna get into a huge fight. This LC is also silver, so maybe if i leave one at work and only park one at home she won't know i have two. :D

Buy first. Figure that out later.

Although managing a fleet of 5 older vehicles can be like a second job itself!

LX is better though, lol going to get crucified for this but that's the truth. LC got the name and the looks but LX is the better vehicle to drive

No crucifixion. You're absolutely correct, the LX is the superior vehicle.

Yeah but the LC cultists don’t wanna hear that.

A few things I noticed, the LC doesn’t have the extra door seals that separate the front doors and rear doors. Also the little felt strip under each door panel is not there. You also hear more noises from the headliner than an LX. LC feels more raw and attached to the road while lx is more refined and isolate you from the road.
