True.often after importing the dashboard you have to relink every control to the source
I tried to go back in an relink the PID but the AT temp doesn’t show up in my PID’s for some unknown reason.often after importing the dashboard you have to relink every control to the source
It looks like you own the only Land Cruiser in Toyota's history which doesn't support the transmission temperature monitoring, or Matt is a real rookie.
Yea thats what I am thinking lol. I may just delete the app and try redownloading it and then scanning it again and hope the PID is there. It looks like you own the only Land Cruiser in Toyota's history which doesn't support the transmission temperature monitoring, or Matt is a real rookie.
I vote for option #2
I was going to suggest that, especially if you did the initial scanning before purchasing the add-on.Yea thats what I am thinking lol. I may just delete the app and try redownloading it and then scanning it again and hope the PID is there.
I’ve tried but the transmission temperature PID’s don’t show up in my Engine and Electronic controlled transmission.Have you tried with a different dashboard? I found inspiration in what others posted but ended up needing to create my own from scratch because I had issues mapping the PIDs. Maybe try creating a one-off with just that PID to see if that works for you.
I’m guessing you do t have techstream to compare results with?I’ve tried but the transmission temperature PID’s don’t show up in my Engine and Electronic controlled transmission.![]()
No I don't have tech stream, I may just buy one of these in the near future although being able to read trans temps on the road would be nice.I’m guessing you do t have techstream to compare results with?
I’ve inquired about this in the past but, as I understand it, you have to connect to a different network than the one you connect to for the regular gauges. There’s been discussion on other threads about reading tire temps with an OBD tool. Tire temp for OBD Fusion is found in Toyota (paid) PID > Network C - Tire Pressure Monitor > ID x Temperature in Tire (in system setting units).
Where x = ID # (1-5), indicating which TPMS is which. The vehicle reads the TPMS based on where it is located (also 1-5), with the parameter “Status of the ID 3 Tire Position / No Information, FL,FR,RL, RR, Spare or Judging” listed in order from 1-5. (I don’t know what Judging is… but I believe Judging comes through as “0” until it figures out where the TPMS sender is located.)
Wish there was a way to make this look more like the dashboard readout showing the pressure by tire location, but this tool is too crude for that, so this works.
I made a simple dashboard of the Position, Pressure, and Temp. Here’s the result after driving around a bit to test it out. Also took a pic of the dashboard display in the LC. For example Position 2 is Front Right.
Note the TPMS does read tenths … but the rounding done by the car is not what you would expect. Above 9/10, it will round up.

I think you’re asking if you can see different networks at the same time… If so, yes, at least for OBD Fusion on iPhone, once it is “connected” I can see data from at least two Networks at once. Said another way, a dashboard can access and show data across different networks.I’ve inquired about this in the past but, as I understand it, you have to connect to a different network than the one you connect to for the regular gauges.
Does this sound correct?
I want to do this to see what my tire temps get to while towing. My trailer TPMS is through a ARB LINX and it shows temps and pressures and it’s been interesting to see those details in different driving conditions and pressures.
Yeah, I think you’re picking up what I was putting down.I think you’re asking if you can see different networks at the same time… If so, yes, at least for OBD Fusion on iPhone, once it is “connected” I can see data from at least two Networks at once. BTW, on Bluetooth, the limit is two connections. Music, phone, or OBD - pick 2! If you’re playing music and running a dashboard, it will break the connection to the dashboard if you get a Bluetooth phone call.
One more question about your positions…There’s been discussion on other threads about reading tire temps with an OBD tool. Tire temp for OBD Fusion is found in Toyota (paid) PID > Network C - Tire Pressure Monitor > ID x Temperature in Tire (in system setting units).
