Maybe different on an 80-Series (I misread...I thought you had LX470)...will a Group 31 fit into the passenger side of the engine bay? If so, then disregard my swapping battery locations post.

I was in your situation before .
2 AGM batteries , good for 2, max 3 days camping without extra charge.
Then I added a small generatore , that worked fine , but noise and small gas tank was always a pain.
At last ,I decided to add a solar panel . 179w .
Works perfectly , also in high temperatures, the fridge is constantly working at 4C. And batteries are always at top voltage.
Most probably you can get away with a 100 W panel.
I have used a flexible model , with Victron controller, and am VERY happy.

Just my 2 cents

I decided to buy another Aux battery tray from @Delta VS and the @LandCruiserPhil hold down bracket. I’m going to slice and dice on my current tray and squeeze this fat broad of a group 31 battery in there. If it fits and doesn’t touch the hood, I’ll post up a procedure. Hopefully it’ll all be here by this weekend to make for a nice little project.
