Just one page back, post #745, unless you're looking for pics of the ladder without accessories in the vertical position

You missed them :)
This is the first prototype, the next one will be much more refined

The plan is to do an aluminum swing out on the ladder, this will hold maxtracks, 4gal rotopax, 3gal rotopax, axe, shovel ect ect.
This way all accessories can be swung open to access the ladder.
I'm also going to try and make the aluminum swing out double as an accessory mount for the roof rack, this way if you want to add a different accessory to the bumper you can install the mount with all your gear on the roof!
Here are some pics with maxtrax, quick fists with fiskers shovel and axe

Maybe I missed it in the 39 pages but is there an approx weight for the rear bumper? I read your front weighs aapprox 85-110 lbs. if I used your front and rear bumpers what are you guys using for suspension upgrades? My rig is primarily a DD kid / family hauler.

Hey Ben, any updates on the next group of bumpers? I think I was pretty soon up on the list!
I have about 13 more to go.
Your number 10 in that line. Sorry!
it's looking like I can only get about 3-4 bumpers done a week.
2 rears and 1-2 fronts, I have also been working weekends to try and get more done.
As of now my work place is pretty small so the poor weather has put a damper on production but looks like I have about 10 day of good weather so I'm hoping to get a lot done!
Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience!

The rear with the tire carrier is around 150-175 so a net gain of around 80-100 lbs. I just put the iron man pro foam kit on mine and seems to handle the weight well. Any medium to heavy suspension should be fine, there are several that are even still running stock suspension as well.

Not sure if you included in your weight calculations, but consider additional weight savings if removing the factory hitch, that eliminates at least 50lbs if not more. So in that case prob a net gain of 50lbs or less.

I did, with the factory hitch, crossmember and rear bumper you are removing about 85lbs.

A little more done on the 3rd ladder swingout this is just a prototype so again the final product will be much more refined. The goal is to have a tray that will offer mounting for 1 4gal rotopax or 2 3gal rotopax, maxtracks axe shovel, ect,
This pan/accessories mount will attach to the ladder with lift off hinges and swing out for access to the ladder, this will allow the ladder to be run at an angle or vertical depending on preference.
The pan/accessories mount will also be able to mount to a roof rack along with all accessories attached to it. I'm going to try and make I'd double as a camp table as well. I personally prefer the ladder vertical as it makes great shelves for drinks or condiments but it can be run angled for better use of the ladder if desired.

Buying based solely on the condiment shelving utility:grinpimp:

Big fan of your bumpers! Hoping to save up enough to buy one soon.

Thanks guys!
Getting pretty excited to finish this up!
Working on the fold down camp table now. this thing is going to be the Swiss Army knife of swingout bumpers :)
I got the new heavy duty lift off hinges that will work out well, the entire 3rd swingout can be lifted off the ladder in a matter of seconds and hung up in the garage with all your gear attached for dd dutys, or you can remove the entire swingout in a matter of minutes if desired. The plan now is to have a lid on the entire pan, this will give a 18x6x38 lockable storage compartment that can be used for just about anything, the lid for this will have attachment points for the max tracks and double as a 18x36" camp table that can be opened in seconds. The compartment can fit many different accessories, a 4 gal or 2
3gal rotopax cans will fit.
If no gas cans are inside it gives a great spot for recovery gear and to hang you muddy tow straps after use. I'm thinking some sort of watter tank In the top portion so you could have gravity fed water right over your camp table as well. Rotopax makes water cans as well so you could fit 3 gallons of fuel on bottom and water on top.
I have mentioned it before but I still plan to build a shower box that will mount to the ladder with the same lift off hinges, this will be a similar aluminum box that will house a water heater, pump, and propane, along with shelves for toiletries, maybe even have a small platform to set on the ground and some kind of curtain.
For Anyone that has done an extended trip with the family will see the value in this!
The other great thing about these accessories is if you tow a camp trailer like I do all these accessories could very easily be mounted to the back or side of the trailer as well and be moved back and forth in seconds and being aluminum they will not be to heavy.
These accessories will not be cheap but once you see all the uses the value will be evident!

Sounds awesome Ben! Whats the plan for those of us who already paid? Are we just getting the second arm or do we also get an accessory? I can't remember the specifics.
