Every time I see this post I’m am so tempted to order front and rear bumpers for my LC. The problem is I love the way it looks with stock bumpers.

Finally one of the cool kids now, thanks @benc

Placing my order tomorrow for front and rear steel bumpers (seems like aluminum is taking close to a year).

Doing the tire swing out and accessory swing out (Yeti Cooler)

Stoked!

Dissent makes great stuff, you’ll be happy.

Alrighty, order placed.

I ordered the whole kit "raw uncoated" as I had a horrible experience with 4x4 labs and their powdercoat performance, which made me wish I had it done locally so that the warranty on the finish would be much easier to manage ...

... so that being said, where in Denver should I get the full kit powdercoated?

Thanks!

Congrats! Did they quote you a lead time by chance?

No, just placed the order. I’m setting my expectations that it’s a July delivery.

What’s the scoop on the bull bar for the LX470?
Would an older bull bar fit the most current version of the bumper?

Have had my Dissent front bumper for 7 years and still very happy with their powder coat.
On the steel verses aluminum.
For the rear bumper the steel has survived huge hits that would damage aluminum. Big ledges and 100s rear departure angle make for huge hits back there.
My front skid plate is steel also for same reason, my Dissent aluminum middle skid plate has been bent and spent sometime in my press getting sorted out.
