sorry for the hardware mix up! We had to change up the hardware for the aluminum and didn’t get it right the first time.
We are dialed now. Let me know if you want me to send you some. As for the wing adjustment, you can loosen up all the cap bolts, top plate bolts and the two socket head wing alignment bolts and that should allow you to twist up the wing a bit. I truly apologize for the lack of good instructions, something I really need to put more time into!
Ben, any idea if you sent me the “dialed in” hardware? I got my stuff on April 16th. Gonna test fit the front bumper this upcoming weekend and hoping I got the right hardware.

@Lugee - How are you mounting your license plate? I can't seem to think/find any good solutions. Thanks!

@gwatts I did a temporary install using scrap bar aluminum and drilled two holes onto it to thread the bolts through. I positioned the license plate on the lowest point of the top slot. The bar aluminum sits on the inside of the bumper, license plate on the outside., creating a sandwich that holds the plate in place by friction. I put some tape on the backing so it doesn't mar up the powder coat.

It held up on a 4 day trip with 150 miles of dirt. I have a more permanent solution I will be installing with hinged mounts once I get my winch installed later this year.

I'll snap some photos of it later today.

Super happy with my new approach angle!

Just finished a 2 day offroad driving class today. @benc work was the star of the show!

@Joe Bob This class actually made us measure approach, departure, and breakover angle with a 6 foot straight edge and a protractor. On my rig the approach is roughly 38 degrees to the factor 55 fairlead. On the Dissent Rear Bumper the departure is roughly 28 degrees to the bottom of the hitch. Finally Breakover Angle is approx 30 degrees.

Sweet! My brother used a protractor on the photo and it was 42. Lol, the camera adds 10lbs. I'll have him bring it out to the mountains next time.
I also like how the recovery points have a sleve. I can scrape them up and if they get too rough I can just order new ones. Modular is the way to go!

@Joe Bob you’re right. I read the wrong number. It’s around 42 to 44

I was looking at 2 day SoCal offroading classes. What class did you take?

Smittybilt x20 12k winch mounted with both mount brackets! So, it can be done, but I'm not sure it was worth it. I had the winch mounted last week with the single braket, but the wireless controller failed and I was sent a new controller box. I figured why not try to slove the mounting problem. Fyi, the single mount bracket is likely strong enough not to fiddle with this extra work!
The solution was to trim the aluminum that holds the trim in place. I dont think I sacraficed any rigidity as i left the bend of the aluminum intact. This allowed just enough to get it to fit. It was still a struggle to mount it. Lots of pushing and pulling.

Actually its 1B1 Champange. PO painted the car at some point. The outline you see around the front fender is basically the paint underneath the old fender flares which I didnt bother to match. The car came with the belt molding already color matched. Research shows me that the molding did not come from the factory that way. Hope that answers your question.

Looks great. I want to take mine to one tone from two. Lucky you that the previous owner did it !

Contact Ben @benc He has one specific to the bumper.

Anyone have a front bumper license plate solution??

***Disregard, didn’t realize this was the aluminum Dissent thread!*** I’ll give you the least robust solution if you need something quickly. I attached a wire to the back because I didn’t trust it, but it hasn’t budged in over two years, including high speed washboard, high speed highway, hitting ruts and rocks, etc.
