Get a spare seatbelt clip and plug it in. Or plug your own seatbelt in behind yourself. What is the best way to disable seatbelt chime on the LX600.
Thanks.
Yes, I was hoping someone would have more color on this techstream sw, but sadly the replies are totally idiotic and completely misunderstand why I require this. I suspected this level of idiocy, so...If there’s any ability to adjust the warnings for the rear seats, it would likely be programmed through tech stream.
same here. best solution i've found is to put it in park, which silences the chime and gives you a moment of reprieve when you shift back into driveFWIW, my girls like to unbuckle as we're in the drop off line at school (which is curved and can be long) and talk out the window to their friends also waiting in line. For the last six or so years, they have been getting unbuckled once we get into the parking lot and into line.
The 600's seatbelt chime starts going off almost immediately at damn near tornado siren levels so my girls start buckling the seat belts back to themselves. It's an annoying safety feature that I'd also like to turn off, or at least acknowledge and disable temporarily. I don't trust those seat belt extenders and I do like having the warning so I know if they unbuckle while we're driving.
tried them in the LX and they're a bit too wide to fitI run these in my 2023 Tundra. They are awesome when I am in the woods.

They also work when my 70 pound dog is riding shotgun.
I don't see the seatbelt chime option for the LX600 on the Carista website.I used my Carista to stop the front seat chimes.
Talk about a timely post! I literally came on here this morning looking for a way to disable the rear chimes...they are insane. I don't know if I have an issue with my rear seat sensors, or if this is normal, but the other day my wife was riding in the back seat with my daughter. My daughter moved from the left seat to the middle and buckled up, but the chime kept going off because the left seat wasn't buckled any more, even though no one was sitting in it. I had her move back to the left seat, and now the chime for the middle seat was going off. The only way to stop it was to turn the car off and back on. So annoying.I just disabled the seatbelt chimes with Carista FWIW. Wish there was an option to just chime once if a kid unbuckles in the back rather than the unbearable way Toyota programmed it.
My dealer wouldn’t do the seatbelt chime.Dealer disabled this idiotic seatbelt chime.
Now I would like to disable this idiotic Auto Start/Stop without installing modules.
