I have had very few issues with my ARB. I drive the truck everyday and still no issue. The truck is now on 37's I ran part of Fordyce till the front driveshaft exploded and the entire Rubicon in my Taco no issues. I have had the locker in for a few years now. Run it winter wheeling in temps close to -40 C. I have installed a few ARB's for other people with no issues. I have a air line repair kit in the truck that I have never had to use.
Route your air lines correctly, run good oil and change it when your supposed to and your not going to have problems. And I wheel at least once a month year round.
My buddies front Toyota Elocker on his 80 seems to have a mind of its own it engages quickly sometimes and other times it doesn't. Could be maintenance but I know I would be annoyed with the blinking light in the dash telling me its not engaged yet when I need it.
And if you got the money to spend on a nice fancy selectable locker for the front you can afford to drop an extra couple hundred for chromoly birfs. Keep your old ones as trail spares and your set. For you 70 guys you can get chromoly birfs and inner shafts from Nitro gear.
