Hiya,
I am running a 61 series in Australia fitted with a 12HT factory turbo diesel set to 10psi and 3" mandrel exhaust :bounce:and i will be fitting a gas (propane) injection system to chase more power and economy, Question, one system puts gas through the turbo, one does not. Which one would you choose as cost is about the same as are claimed increases. At the moment I,m leaning toward not gasing via the turbo. TY for any input.

i would post this in the diesel section , you should get more respounces .

Purveyors of propane systems also claim fuel economy will increase 2-3 miles per gallon with full-time use of propane injection. What’s really important is the total fuel cost per mile, which isn’t just the diesel fuel costs, but also the propane costs.

bottom line: save the propane for the stove and the furnace.

inject it in after the turbo as it will help to keep the propane cooler and thus give a larger boost of power.
