The turbo badge for the 70 series grill is available for order already? @bj70bc

its not 70 series specific, just flat 5", as my grill is a flat grid style

The first batch will be wrapped up and ready to start shipping out tomorrow. Here are the links for the 70 Series Turbo grille badge. If we run out of stock we will cut one more batch asap. I have a feeling this first batch will be enough but we will see. I will get better pics soon. The first link is our website where we can offer slightly better pricing since we don't charge ourselves seller fees BUT we don't do international shipping through our own website. Etsy and ebay is set up for international shipping.

Just bought one through ebay. Thanks!

Placed order through Etsy. Thx!

We have both now. We have the universal 5" and 7" turbo badges that will mount on any flat surface plus the new 70 series specific Turbo grille badge that matches the curvature of the 70 series grille. That is what we released today. Hopefully that wasn't confusing for folks.

Just checked inventory. We sold 12 of the batch of 20 turbo badges we made. If the remaining 8 sell quickly then we will make another batch of 20. If they take a few months then this will be the entirety of the run. On a side note, I had quite a few folks asking about buying our 70 series cup holders when they purchased the Turbo and Diesel grille badges. We do still make them but are not the retailer for them. Odd Iron Offroad sells them. They are much more knowledgeable about the 70 series platform and can better help customers and answer questions so we felt that they were a better vendor for selling our 70 series cup holders. Here is the link to those cup holders.

@bhicks will the standard flat mount Turbo badge fit On the older 70 series grill? They are flat grate metal material.
I would assume so, but like with the original badges I would maybe try and come up with some creative way to fasten it to the grill, like maybe a couple of 6mm bolts going through the badge and through the grill with something on the back side , like big washer, for a bolt to hold on. This make sense? My proper use of words was probably lacking in what I am trying to say🤣

Nope makes sense. I just don’t want to lose a $40 badge

I'm not sure. Can I see a pic of the grille you are asking about? We have a few ways we have attached different badges to the expanded metal style badges you see on the 40 series and the more flat plastic (faux metal) grilles you see of the FJ Cruiser.

It’s real metal, it’s pretty flat on the outside lol.
Factory has pins and clips on the backside to hold.

Well, that answered that. It's not flat. The best option would be to use the adhesive that comes with the flat badge and stick to a WELL cleaned grille in the exact spot you want. Once stuck then come from the backside with a tube of clear silocone and cover the back of the badge and across the back of the grille and into all the nooks and crannies to create a large surface for the badge to stick well. That should keep it secure for a LONG time. WE have done that with a few badges that went onto aftermarket mesh grilles and have had great success.

Makes sense. I’ll get one ordered up as the front of mine needs that turbo badge.:cool:

I received my turbo badge yesterday. It looks really good. Thanks @bhicks.

Got mine too! its killer
I used the same mounting scheme as the original diesel badge, jb welded a nut to the back and bent up a piece of metal to provide tension on the badge to the grill while also using the 3m tape on the front
