Wow. Shoulda stayed home. You guys got way more than asheville. Only 3-4” at city elevations. Main roads were fine....BRP access was shut down all over.

Two wheel drive chevy stuckfest kinda damped the efforts to go lay fresh tracks.

Almost no snow in SE Charlotte but, no power since the afternoon

We got about 8" here. Lots of sleet too, broken branches and trees down all over. Power went out at 4:30AM came back on at 6:30 PM. I kept the wood stove churning all day and took a couple naps We moved the mattress from the spare room in front of the wood stove while there was still light, so we'll be sleeping there tonight, camping in!

Our power went out an hour ago. I'm runnin my camping gen so we can have tv, interwebbers, and fridge. we were so close to making it thru an entire natural disaster without a major incident .

On my way to work this morning, started right up, heat worked nicely. Then the tranny started acting up....barely made it in this morning. I think it's this problem: Shift from 1 > 2 Loss of Power then Over-rev into Redline

Try using the 2nd gear start button, see if that works for you.

Check your fluid level! Always a good first step. 2nd gear start button is another good idea.

Channel 2 in Greensboro reports a vacant building in High Point at 2422 English Rd. has collapsed under the weight of the snow. Several years ago, when I lost the building which housed my business in Thomasville, I almost rented a space in this building. I didn't mainly because it wasn't ready for a long term tenant and other reasons.

Never fails, right after a nice long hot shower, all clean and fresh, and then the ineviteble gas logs...and then you dont feel as clean and fresh
