It’s raining in my area. That’s going to be fun tomorrow morning when everything is frozen.

Power out...looks like the work I was doing in the shop will have to wait.

If you need to borrow my little Honda genny, let me know.

Am I the only one that doesn’t drive in the beaten down tracks and just makes new ones? :bounce:

I make new tracks also. More controlled as the beat down slush is a pain to drive in.

Got a decent bit here in Durham near Hope Valley. Had to go out to the store earlier (~1.5 miles) and counted 5 vehicles in the ditches. Mandatory pic of the truck when I woke up this morning around 7:30

Also saw a guy riding his Honda Grom in the snow...not smart.

Wow!! I feel grateful we didn't get that much, now. Its a slush mess here in Pittsboro. Love to go out and make new tracks, but its a slushy, rainy mess here :(

Streets in High Point are horrible. The drivers aren't much better either. Saw an Impala that wasn't able to do much more than spin the front tires. Asked it I could give a tow and they just ignored me so I went on. Doing well until the children in a CJ came up behind me fast and tried to push me faster than the traffic in front was going to go. I guess his 4wd can stop quicker. So I pulled over, gave him the #1 sign and went about my drive.

I too make new ruts in the snow and ice.

Tomorrow morning will be a horror show!

Classic weather here in Charlotte. Projected like 10 inches but ended up with just a bunch of slush. Every time I even think about the possibility of no school I just end up dissapointed

Waiting on the snow watching rampage 1:45am it started to fall in lil ole mebane.

13.5 inches here before it changed to sleet.

Remember when you were a kid and played outside all day in the cold, and you had nosecicles from all the fun you were having?

Someone had a good time...

Plainfield Rd north of Greensboro. Many pines down blocking the road.

Rode around Raleigh at about 7am. Hit some big hills and a few snow drifts no problem. Saw a lot of stranded/wrecked cars and trucks. Probably should have stopped and helped but I needed to get some groceries for breakfast and didn't have the fridge with me lol. I'm surprised none of the roads were being plowed; not even the highways. I work for the City and am usually called in to clear roads when it snows but I guess they dropped the ball this time. That said, it certainly was nice to get to enjoy the snow day for once!

No real action shots, but I went looking for unplowed hills, and found out the 200 is a MACHINE in the snow!

18” of snow piled up here in Boone for a 3 day weekend. So far 2 GMCs got unstuck, 2 Fords needed to get yanked out and one Highlander got buried. Should have driven the 40 up for the weekend. I’m told the road up to the BRP might be cleared by tomorrow.

Had to leave RDU area this morning to go to Fayetteville at 7am, so the powder was fresh and mostly untouched until I hit 401 South. A few cars on the side of embankments and ditches, but no one to be seen, so they must have been earlier in the morning.

Yes, I'm the same, was making new tracks in the slush on my way home at around 2 when the rain had washed most of the stuff away.

Always new tracks. .

Youngest learning to drive in snow and do e brake slides.

These LC’s have to much traction.
