Did I get ripped?

    I just bought a rebuilt starter from Napa - an 83 for a 2F.

    They charged me 145 plus 28 for a core deposit. This seems high to me as I look through some previous threads. Can you guys let me know if you think this is reasonable, or should I take it back and look around for another.

    My gear reduction from Napa was about $120. with a $30. deposit.

    You might check with O'Reilly's if you have one. I've found they are less expensive on parts like that than NAPA is.

    thats about what Toyota gets for a re-man OEM GR starter, so your OK.
