It might sound like a lot of money, but when you start with a junk yard axle you have hours of cutting and welding ahead of you. Then when you are all done you have to make brackets for all these goofy shapes. Then when you put it on the housing you have a good chance of warping it. All said in done, then put it in the truck and wheel the piss out of it, then it bends. So by the time you are done the Diamond would have been a bargain. :D

thats exactly what happened to me and after alot of frustration building a jig and attemting to sleeve the housing to gain width, diamonds were it
 
I wonder if they would do a 9.5" front housing only? Without knuckles like the spider9's, crossed up, or ballistic? I would like one but 900.00 is a lil out of my range. Maybe if you could get it around 400.00 and DIY??
