I am an official no go. You guys have fun.

I believe at this point that is where I stand as well. With everything going on with the house construction, and the way things are looking I will probably have to work on Saturday.

With all that snow, I am sure even by next week there will be at least 1' on the ground there. Unless some other group does a run there and that would definitely clean it up a bit for us :D. No offense on any particular group but the rovers are really good in creating paths :D

Who am I to tell you that you can't bring a friend?

My only concern was that if the trail was difficult, it might be a pain doing the trail with a dozen trucks. We'd be pulling people out (or they'd be pulling me) the whole day. But I figure we can meet and decide if we want to split up into two groups based on the weather and the number and types of rigs. So far, if all the confirmed and maybes come, we'll have 11 trucks. That, of course, isn't likely to happen.

If my new voltage regulator comes in this week I will be a go. I had a blast this past sat at shoecreek. My regulator went out while driving home in the snow late saturday. It is off my Premier power welder and they are not answering the phone today. I will be bringing another 4runner simmilar to mine, both on 37 iroks, locked and ready to go.

So I am a definite go now. I am pumped. I got a buddy from school with a modified heep coming too. It will definitly be a good time. So what is the final meeting place and time for saturday? I will be coming from Farmville VA so general directions would help.

Hmm. . . then I guess I should do that.

How does 9:30 at the Sheetz sound? Those of us coming from the north can meet at Bob's place in Warrenton at whatever time will allow us to get down there by 9:30.

Bob, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd guess it's about an hour from Warrenton to Madison?

Some day you two will meet accidentally. Not knowing of each other's online persona, you'll hangout and have a great time. Go wheelin'. Have some beers. Really bond.

"Man, Josh, you should see this guy Stucky I have to put up with online. What an ass."

It's about an hour from my place to the Sheetz in a pokey 40.

9:30 works for me. And Felix you are probably right. That could happen. But reffug will probably say he has tard radar.

Can some one toss out a cell number, so people like me can get a hold of some one in case lost? :D If I can't get to Bob's place by 8:00, I'll see you all at the Sheetz. Man I'm ready for some wheelin' :D

Oh, and this trail isn't for posers:

My cell phone number is 240-997-9244.

I just pm'd directions to Bob's to the guys I know are coming from the north. If you're coming from that way and didn't get them, send me a pm.

We'll leave Bob's place at 8:30 to arrive at the Sheetz at 9:30.

IWL, is that pic from Devil's Ditch?!?!

Yep, that is the beginning of the Ditch. Crossing the stream coming in Conway all he did was drag, we tried to talk him out of it. Luckily we passed River Cities Trail Runners earlier and I was able to reach them on the CB and thay had an on board welder.

We tried ONstar but it wouldn't reach out

That's a great pic! I didn't think anyone took pictures that day. :D

They all kept bragging about riding in style going in, and how rough mine was. They were just happy to have a ride back out. It snapped a tie rod end, and after getting "warraunty" coverage it needed a whole new exhaust system too.
