i do not think it is up to me unfortunately

I've got to make sure I never EVER deal with any of these shops you are currently, or have dealt with...not even if they are the only people around who know about, or have what I need. Really not cool the way they are taking care of you.

Please list them again so I don't forget...pitiful...:meh:

Edit...this does not include a couple of good guys, like Mark

i have to pay the other half the labor as the Engine rebuilders only cover 50 bucks an hour for labor for pulling and replacing the head.

So they are getting paid full rate, dunno why mine would be second over others/

Just ask them to put yours in the calender for the first opening they have, at least you know when it will be done at the latest. If they wait for the openings in a fully planned calender they only work on it for a short time at once with different mechanics. This will increase the chances of something going wrong again. At that time they will start pointing at each other and you'll be the one with a problem. Don't mean to scare you but this is a typical case of Murphy's law and I for one would like to see your chain of bad luck being broken.

Yeah they said it will get done when they find a hole in the schedule to fit it in.
I do not think I am even in the schedule...
:hhmm:....

Ate some bad food this weekend.

Oy, food poisoning is death...

Hopefully they will sort it this week,
After that it will have been 3 weeks sitting.

All this waiting will make the ride even sweeter :D

Or you could be like me and thirty-six years later and still own your first cruiser plus a couple of garages full of cruisers. Then you know there is no cure and you're always wondering how your still married:confused:

The trick is to give your wife a hobby that takes even more time and money. And of corse be nice and understanding when she asks you or without her asking (they really seem to go for the last):grinpimp:

I tried the hobby thing a few times but just can't seem to get her interested in one. Not because of mine but more we are a few years away from retirement and give her something to do. I don't think we could afford two hobbies like mine. My plan is to buy now so I can afford my hobby on a fixd income:cheers:

I'm lucky my :princess: has her own income and she loves horses. It shure is expensive but it makes my hobby less of a problem. I even have time to go on MUD sins I gave her a little Arab as a present. Now she even lets me keep the second 40
