ok good news, freeze plugs fixed, and drove it to my shop
bad news, stilla fuel dilvery problem.
Was running great, then i got some fuel went to my shop, installed the speedo cable.
Then took it out for a drive, stumbling stumbling stumbling, like it is not getting and fuel, missing grrr.
So what shoudl I do?
1) clean the fuel tank
2) replace all the fuel lines
3) install a longer stud on the manifold so i can put a carb insulator on.
4) rebuild a different aislin carb.
The fuel system is not complex, so i have no idea.
some problems that might be it...
a) some sand in the tank from the painters... have inline filters... this could explain why when i filled some gas in the tank it stirred some gunk in the tank maybe?
b) pin hole leak in the gas line somewhere causing a vacuum leak?
c) with no carb insulator below the carb it is causing the fuel to boil?
d) carb that was rebuilt was pretty warped, and Mark mentioned it might be kinda wonk.
e) a combination of all these?
anyone can recommend where to start? tank first? then up the line to the carb?
Gotta be a simple answer, where the hell should i start this weekend guys?
new bits:
new rebuilt engine,
new distributer
new cap lines points etc.
