I need to sell one of our Land Cruisers and am offering this stock 2008 first. You can read about my decision process here, and if you are interested in the built 2013 or stock 80 series feel free to send me a PM.
Below is a link to the Craigslist ad where I was poetic about how much I love the 2008 for its lack of tint, smooth doors like the Heritage Edition, and relative rarity. Even better, this Cruiser comes with $15k+ in receipts from Toyota and Lexus dealer maintenance that recently replaced:
- spark plugs
- brake and steering fluid
- alternator
- starter
- fuel sending unit
- radiator
- front and rear brakes
- struts
- coolant valley plate
- battery
- headlight housings (original ones were faded)
Additionally, it recently had the catalytic converters stolen, which is a benefit to the new owners because it had brand new cats and O2 sensors installed meaning emissions no emissions concerns for a very, very long time. The Cruiser drives amazingly well and is super quiet and tight. I've had 2 year old 200s with under 40k miles, and this feels just as nice to drive. The only mod is 285/65R18 BFG KO2s, and I have the running boards which were removed to give it the Heritage Edition look.
I have the clean Colorado title in hand along with 2 keys and the huge stack of service records. I realize my price may seem high by typical Mud standards, but it's rare to find such a well cared for, rust free (extremely clean - lived in Texas its whole life until 3 years ago), good color combo, clear glass example.
