I am selling my Fj60. I bought it from a friend whose uncle had given it to him (original owner). I didn't really know anything about it except that it was a Toyota and 4x4 and I really liked the style so I bought it. It has a clean New Mexico Title. Everything is stock.

I used it to camp a couple of times and drove it on the highway with no issues, I used the 4x4 to cross sand and it worked awesome. It has mostly sat in covered parking but it starts right up. Yes, It is the FJ on my profile. It has no major dents, there is a little rust around wheel wheels but not too bad.....frame looks great underneath. Motor and transmission run smooth. The engine is huge and tractor like but oil pressure is good, I replaced the oil sending unit plug. It fills up with about 50 dollars but gas mileage is ok for a 6 cyl. Tires and spare are usable but not matching. I dont see any oil puddles underneath anywhere either. I changed the oil and drove it maybe 500 miles at most. All glass is intact. Heater works but AC blows just air temperature air. Mileage is 213778. Seats have no rips.

Right now it is equipment with a brush front headlight guard and a roof rack and LED offroad lights. Not to enthused about selling (not sure I will ever come across another like it) but I also hate seeing parked all year long and I don't have plans on working on it until maybe a few more years...so here it is. I am only posting on here. text me for pics 575 543 5259

Biggest concern right now is the inside pillars look like they leaked at some point (roof gutter leaked). Someone epoxyed the heck out of them and they don't leak anymore. I just dont want to pull off healiner to look more. I promised someone that I would take it to a body shop here in town. In Juarez this would be an easy fix,, either cut and weld new metal or grind the rust out then "bondo" it with lead (in the US no one uses lead anymore) Frame has zero rust or rot. Body is almost intact of rust except one side of rear wheel has beginning rot but nothing major. Floosr are solid. Suspension is ok the brakes will need attention they are scraping...I dont know if it is because it sat for so long or if it needs new brake shoes. Also the steering wheel made a whinning and scraping noise it had not done before but it seems to go away after driving it a while. I have not checked fluids yet except oi and radiator. There is no oil puddle left underneath but underside especially 4x4 transfer case is covered in oil/dirt. I washed the outside but not underneath or the interior. It does have a tow hitch (Reese?). I dont know the brand of the brush guard but it was made in Austrai? (based on a marking). The roof rack is newer from Autozone. It does have a spare. No radio at all. There is a carb choke lever inside on the dash I have never used it. There is a blower looking thing inside the engine bay on the drivers side, it is not connected. The truck started right up and starts right up I'm pretty sure it has an electric fuel pump that pumps gasoline into the carb once the key is turned. Motor and trans run smooth. Very comfortable to sit in. It is a 4 speed manual, with locking hubs, doors and windows are not electric. It is a 1981 with little dents here and there, but no major dents or bondo fixes from the past. I would drive it anywhere after servicing the brakes. It will be my daily driver this week so ill let you know how it goes. Thanks Again 575 543 5259 text or call
