Talked with @woody about this, trying the new "article" format here. Below is press release about us taking over stocking and manufacturing of former WE branded parts. Intention of this is simply information, no desire for thread to devolve into any kind of disparagement. Photos attached of a handful of the currently in stock products.

October 14, 2024 - Garden City, ID – Delta Vehicle Systems is pleased to announce that it is offering the popular off-road products previously sold under the Wits End brand. This decision aims to ensure the continued availability of these high-demand parts to the Land Cruiser community.

Delta has partnered directly with the original machine shop that designed, prototyped, and machined the Wits End branded parts. This machine shop, operated by a dedicated and skilled team, will continue to produce the high-quality CNC-machined components that customers have come to rely on. Delta Vehicle Systems is committed to maintaining a steady supply of these products, working hard to ensure they remain in stock and readily available.

In addition to continuing the production of these CNC-machined parts, Delta Vehicle Systems has also taken on the manufacturing and stocking of the sheet metal parts in-house. This move is designed to eliminate long wait times and streamline the availability of these essential components. Across the board, improvements for manufacturing and ease of use have, and will continue, to be implemented. These improvements will make the parts easier to keep on the shelves and easier to use.

"Our primary goal is to support the Land Cruiser community by making these proven designs consistently available," said Dave Schenker, co-owner of Delta Vehicle Systems. "We are thrilled to collaborate with the original machine shop to continue offering these products and look forward to serving our customers with the same level of quality and reliability they expect."

Delta Vehicle Systems has also updated its website to reflect these changes and to provide customers with the most current information on product availability. We will continue to add products as they become available.

This is great news for all the people, including me, that have purchased Wits End products over the years.

Will the ‘infamous’ turbo kit, including all parts that may fail one day, be available through Delta?

More & most importantly: Will you continue the smog certification process that Joey started & intended for this turbo kit?

Not going to be diving into turbo stuff. There are a very small number of the small parts of the kit the machine shop we are dealing with did make, they have said they are willing to make them again on an as need basis for replacement parts.

Thank you for the prompt update.

Bummer about the sparse turbo parts coverage, but excited to hear what will be available.

I texted Joey after hearing this news asking for a refund since he never completed the project as advertised (smog legal), I’m sure he’ll ignore me like everyone else. But at least I was one of the few that got a product.

Kudos to you guys at Delta, you do make the nicest 80’s rear bumper on the market!

This is awesome news. The stuff he came up with was great but glad to see those products in better hands now.

It is amazing and awesome that you picked up the mantle. Thanks for doing this, we're lucky to have you in the community!

Absolutely superb!

Just added the Useless Ashtray Replacements to the site. Figure better to just add to this thread than start a bunch of new ones for each product as they become available.
