As the title says, I found Timbren Bump Stops for offRoad but what about for towing with the 80 series? Timbren mentions on their site that towing and off road bump stops are different but nothing listed for 80 series towing?
The off road ones for 80 series are Active Off-Road # ABSTORLC1
But nothing listed for the SES towing style.
Anyone find some Timbrens that work for 80 series towing?

Ok got hold of Timbren staff this morning. For some reason this doesn't show up when searching for 80 series products on their site?
The part number for the SES (towing version) bump stops for the 80 series is just TORLC1
I will report back and share my experience towing with them as I haven't found 80 series Timbren reviews. I'm assuming I may need to remove these when not towing but we'll see (apparently they're designed primarily for lifted vehicles, mine is either stock or very small lift done before me)

How are they different?

I had the Active ones for a while...nice fit and they did their job well, almost too well....I went back to traditional stops with blocks as they limited my travel a bit on the harder wheeling obstacles.

From what I researched back then, it looks like the bumper part is longer/larger for the towing version and should actually make contact with a mild load applied and then get progressively stiffer with more weight load to help the coils out a bit. Now all of that said, my 80 probably wouldn't even have the power to pull something heavy enough to compress my rear springs that much...

So here are the towing bumps added with no lift on the truck. They are not designed to be used without a lift. Very stiff and add a little sway imo. I knew this before I got them but they were necessary to tow my tractor

Here's a pic while towing about 6000 lbs. Before the bumps I was sagging with just the trailer!
The HDJ81 was definitely sluggish with the load but being a standard 5 speed diesel I just geared way down when needed. This wouldn't be the vehicle I choose for daily heavy towing but works fine getting the tractor to and from my cottage.
BTW, I only install the bump stops when I'm towing. If you lift the truck by the frame, remove the wheel and let the axle sag down, these stops can be swapped in about 10 minutes. Air bags are the answer but these are fine for a few heavy hauls a year.
