Happy to see this. I used to run a frame side drop on my old 4Runner and it was a great upgrade. One question though, since this is a foreseeable issue why don't aftermarket panhards have some bend/drop built in, along with the adjustment seen on the Toughdog in the first pic?

I think the pivot point is the primary issue that has to be addressed. If the bar was bent to be flat across the majority of the length but bent up toward the frame and down at the axle the two connected pivot points would would still create the same arc.

Yep, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the explanation.

Yup, @yotasavg, this is exactly the case. Doesn't matter what shape the bar is, only the attachment points.

Has there been any more progress on this part?
Tons! It’s finished, been for sale for a bit, etc. Just been waiting on a site upgrade before listing it. For now order via email: info @ deltavs.com

Final configuration is the drop bracket style discussed earlier in the thread, final price is 325 with all hardware etc.

attached is instructions so you can get a good idea of install, etc. We have had reports of folks needing to grind a bit more than our instructions state, but we’ve installed a handful and still haven’t run into that situation

Does this relocation bracket require an adjustable panhard bar?

Absolutely not. The drop bracket actually does the same job as an adjustable panhard, in addition to keeping the rear end wiggle (granted, not as much of a problem as on an 80, but still there) to a minimum.

oh ya, that final price includes US shipping as well.

Does the final version still require bump stop extensions? I just looked at the instructions and didn't see anything about that in the PDF.

Since we went with the panhard drop bracket, no bumpstop extensions are needed. There is no potential for chassis interference.

As a point of reference. I have an 80 series with armor and J springs. I have been using the 3" delta bracket and been very pleased with it until this last week when I drove my heavily loaded cruiser down the Mojave Trail and proceeded to attempt to clearance the rear crossmember by repeatedly making a load banging noise. Maybe I should have slowed down a bit more. My 1.5" bumpstop extensions were always perfectly adequate until I added the bracket. Will an extra .5" (2" blocks be adequate?)

This is not applicable to the 100 Series panhard DROP bracket, and is actually the specific reason we went with a drop bracket in this application. The stock setup is basically zero clearance, so whatever you raise the panhard mount by, you have to drop the bumpstops by, essentially eliminating up travel.

My bad, I don't have an 100 series. I assumed they were much more similar.

Just installed the panhard drop kit it perfectly centered my axel and leveled the panhard bar. Great addition to a lift

Very happy with the product after a 3+" lift No crabwalk when flying down over interstate bridges and highways over railroad track crossings.
