I added a swing out that blocks the factory LP mount. Thus my camera stares at the back of a tire and a rack now.

I rerouted the camera up to the 3rd brake light as this will allow me to remove my swing out without having to fuss with the camera if I were to mounted it there.

What I want to know is, has anyone mounted to the 3rd light? If so how did you mount the camera? Does anyone sell a turn key mount that won't require modifications? How is the light pollution from the 3rd light, is the visibility of your camera still good with the added brake light behind the camera. I know guys have put them on the rack. I want to avoid this for a couple reasons.

I like the idea of the more aerial view, similar to a sprinter. Just trying to figure out the easiest way to do this and certainly not against buying the bracket if I don't have to fab one myself.

Google has not shown me much of anything as far as options go.

Let me know what's out there and what you think about this idea.

I have my back up camera permanently mounted to the rear of my roof rack to avoid the bumper mounted spare tire when I have the swing outs on. Viability is great with no issues from lights.
