Man way to skirt disaster Mark. ;p

Yeah, great pics but I would adjust your write-up that you probably copied from somewhere about Darwin Falls. It's not that simple of a hike especially if you have the wrong shoes! Very slippery.

I didn't copy that part. I thought it was super easy for people that never hike! like us!!! If my fat butt can hike it , its easy!

Well, it's not hard but I wouldn't say anyone can do it. It's not strenuous but pretty sketchy as far as muddy shoes on slick rock is concerned and having to walk on broken tree limbs to get across streams. Talk to Yoshi she will attest that it was harder this time than last year when she did it. And I guess they were all getting a good kick out of your friend with the F150, I think they said he screamed like a girl or something?

Nice write up Dave.

i'm confused, why did you buy a new house with a rig set up that well?

just busting ya, love the blog.

Death Valley is #8 on Yahoo's 53 Places to go in 08'

"It's too early to predict, but recent heavy rains have some flower bloggers already speculating about a dazzling spring bloom in Death Valley next year. Death Valley is home to more than 1,000 species of wildflower, and in that special spring after a wet fall and winter, the brown desert landscape is carpeted with Technicolor fields of blossoms."

I am down to go back......

that's the kind of info i need to get the g/f going! thanks

I thought 2003 was the "once in a 100 yr bloom" at DV? Now I feel gypped! hehe
gas isnt getting any cheaper so I'll enjoy 08 in DV while I can afford it! :)
