Where is the sweet spot for de-pinning the idle solenoid plug. I would like to do this in order to route it through the grommet on the fire wall.

Thanks for the reply. Now I feel really silly. I've been working on the 40 late nights and to boot I had it labeled with the Brother P touch. Since I am running the Dakota Digital VHX, I not even sure if I'm going to send it through the fire wall since the DD comes with its own sensor.Push the terminal into the plug, use a fine tip pin (if you don’t have good tools, a Bobby pin with the tip cut off is perfect) to push in and slightly down to move downward under the terminal housing. Pull on housing.
Btw that plug isn’t the idle solenoid that’s the coolant temp
I thought of replying, but...A classic case of a picture being worth a thousand words! Thanks Nate.Looking at the pic, the pin goes at the top.
