I've done this once but don't remember how I did it. I'm pretty sure there is a thread here that explains how or maybe someone answered this quastion the first time I did this.

I don't see any pin locking mechanism on the OEM connector. I think it is just a matter of pulling the pins out by the wires and/or pushing with sharp pick.

Maybe it’s a year difference but I used the ARB kit on my Ironman and it’s just inline harness. No de-pinning was required.
Yes I think it could be a year thing or there is more than one ARB harness and I got the wrong one. Mine looks like this:

The small grey plug matches the OEM plug and goes into the camera. The white plug is what needs to attach to the OEM harness and they provided both parts of that plug which tells me they intended some repinning. It needs to be the female mate like the camera.

Ah yea, that's gotta be it.
Does youe OEM plug look the same? If so, that would mean there is a female mating connector. If that exists, and I have to repin anyway, I might as well find the mating plug. Really, I sould upgrade the camera now too....

I had to repin it for my 13LX . OEM one has a white piece that slides. You have to stick a small flat screw driver thru the side and slide the white piece so that it's flat on the opposite side. Then you can pull the pins out. They require some force and are very thin wires so you have to be careful. At first I tried pulling them out with pliers but I was messing them up. I did it with my fingers and that worked

2019 kit looks like yours. I had to depin the factory plug and there is in fact a locking mechanism for the pins. I will search for my instructions.

thanks. I see the release now. I should be able to do now. I must have done that before, but I just don't recall. A direct "plug-n-play" would be better but once you know the trick to depin, it isn't too bad. If I could find the mating plug, I'd do that but sometimes they don't exist when the plug mates with an OEM device.

Pretty sure is was a little White retainer and I used a paper clip to push the pins out.
