yes possible, dealer have a code to program.

Funny, I could find nothing about this and my dealer says it is not possible.
Do you have any documentation to back up your claim?

I think the halogen drl can be switched on/off through programming but the led, as far as i know, on the 200 series is just a side light

Yes. On my 2013, I can turn the halogen DRL's On/Off using the navigation system screen, but the LED's at the bottom of the headlight housing only come on with the main headlights.
When I specifically asked my dealer whether the LED's could be re-programmed to work as DRL's - as on the Lexus - they told me it was a wiring issue, not a software issue. This discussion took place while TechStream was hooked up to my truck adjusting other parameters (fob button press / window open/close option).

Discussed previously but turn your daylight off on the info screen and turn headlight switch to 1 position and you have led daylight now. Rear lights will be on as well which is not a bad thing.
Lol -- FYI if you have in 1 position in garage, tunnel or dusk info screen goes to dark setting. But during daylight the screen is bright. I keep in 1 all the time and then manually turn headlights on at night. If you use auto setting no lights will be on during day.
Not sure about your screens but on mine with the lights on i can switch back to "day mode" and it brightens up the screen
sorry I got the question wrong - LED bar is not an option by the CODE, but it is very easy to make them on , what you need is
LED Daytime Running Light DRL Relay Harness Auto Control On/Off Switch kit C14 from e-bay $20.00 - they will be on when the car is ON , turning the headlights OFF is possible by the dealer code manual page 534 Default is ON Custom setting OFF by dealer.
Has anyone had any luck with adding a relay? I'd love to have it work like the Lexus, with the LEDs on when the lights are turned to the Auto position. Thanks in advance for the help!
Problem is still the brightness. I did this initially on my 16LC but stopped as it is barely visible. I would like to see a module like the one from beat-sonic for the 16+ year.
