Looks like my front diff. is the gift that keeps on giving.

Did you think it was going to heal its self? or is everything ok once it stops s***ting steel?

Just drop the thing, swap it out, make the ring gear an ash tray, and the pinion a gear shifter or a tap handle. Welcome to the club, I blew 3 in one year. :grinpimp:

I was hoping it wouldn't be binding up in 2wd, especially at highway speed:mad:. I think I am just going to pull the front axels until I can get a replacement.

And finding a front 3.91 diff. is a lot more difficult than I thought. I have tried every junkyard in the area with no luck.

DO NOT PULL YOUR AXLES!! I believe that is what holds the front wheel bearing together!

Thats why I drove around with the two tulips still in with the axle shaft removed :hillbilly:

I like the idea of making every trip a tour

I like the idea of a job with more vacation time

I still haven't even unloaded my truck yet
Let alone repaired it.
Can't wait for the Jambo
Love this group
Very glad Ron is still an active member

Darrell better get that diff replaced
He needs a wheelin fix

We are writing a story for Toyota Trails. I will email the story to those who were on the tour for preview or editing for any correction if so desired. We have 500 pics of our own to choose from for submission if 3 MB is acceptable to Trails I will let you know if we need pics of higher MB.

PM me if you would like an emailed copy of the story.

That is awesome Vickie and Bill. I will take a look at it for you. Email is rfeatherston1@aoldotcom.

Jenn is pretty good at pic taking, Ive got over 250 pics. The camera is a 6 or 8 mega pixel....but that really doesnt mean much of the lens and the rest of the camera is s***!!!! Like mine is...

But let me know if you need anything

The way it works apparently is that the story first gets reviewd and IF it is accepted THEN they accept pics. So by the end of next week after any of you that want to check it out, we will send it in. Then we'll see about pics. Also s*^t will be changed to a more family friendly word. Last names are ommitted to protect the innocent (or is that the guilty?) :)

If Trails doesn't, RockCrawler.com could use a good article...and lotsa pic space too :)

Actually, with the new setup for 'MUD, it would work there too...hhmmm

I just had a terrifying thought!!!!.....

PYS as a TLCA sanctioned, raffle having, family friendly event, that any jerk off starts coming to, to play offroad/camping......:censor:

At which point we KILL it :grinpimp:

:bang:

X a billion!
That is the absolute last thing i want OUR tour to be, so don't anybody even think about bringing it up. If it goes big, it lost what I love about it. So if anybody needs a reminder, it is all about a SMALL groug of buddies hangin out for a week. PERIOD.
Don't need no input from the peanut gallery!!
