Daily driver since I purchased it in December 2006 with 100k. By far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Does everything I need it to do. I drive it very hard and it get s about 11 mpg with 33.4 inch tires.

I've been in a Tahoe for the past two weeks... I'm ready to get back to DDing the 100.

I was driving a new Genesis V8 Sedan as my rental car over Christmas vacation. Made it hard to get back into the 100. The 100's left me on the side of the road once. Or rather I left it on the side of the road. Ran out of gas a 1/2 mile from my office. :o

Both ours get daily driven. Gas hurts, but with four teenagers and two adults, there are few cars that do it better, for less. Also get wheeled, filled with Scouts for camp outs frequently, etc. So the MPG per passenger mile isn't too bad...

I have a short commute and when I can't bike, I love to drive my 100. Actually, my fiance and I recently gave her car to her sister who needs it more, and now we're carpooling to our jobs and it's still the best thing I can imagine to cruise in. Not saying I wouldn't take a free LX to keep it company :)

Ours is driven everyday by my wife or myself wth our twins onboard. I can't think of another vehicle I would have them riding in. The 100 is so good that every other vehicle I ride in gets compared to the 100 and all falls short in some regard. We are having a hard time trying to decided what car is going to be keeping it company in the garage when we purchase our next vehicle. Another 100 is high on the list!

The 100 sits in the garage until duty calls for family outings, scout campouts, skiing trips, 4x4, home projects. Air is just too cruddy around here to be DDing it. My little econobox does the job for daily commutes, all the while polluting much much less.

Daily driver. 40,000 miles a year.

That's a lot of seat time! I drive probably 25-30k per year (100 mile commute) and the cheapskate side of me just had a fit when I figured out the gas expense difference between the 100 and commuter.

Tell me about it. We will far exceed the value of the truck in fuel costs over it's lifetime with us

Yeah I mostly DD the Hundy, about 25 miles per day. When my Jeep is running I drive it to work sometimes. I have begun towing the Jeep with the Hundy when I go on trips, works out well.

Daily driver, 15k/year.... Mine has hit the flat part of depreciation curve. Bought it with short term plan to use and move on - prior owner warned me they are addictive. At this point gas is kinda the only expense. I get the privilege of driving a safe and comfortable vehicle through snow and sleet on country roads (w/ tons of deer) at all hours of day and night. These trucks have so much more presence than their so-called competitors (w/ exception of rovers)...

Just added a super rare 2012 328 xi wagon w/ 6 speed manual ( one of about 30 in us) to our stable and couldn't be happier with the combo of the LC and bimmer....

I will be lucky to put 7k on my LC this year. Occasionally, I commute into some very sketchy areas, so I like driving my older Volvo sedan with a busted headlight during the week. If it will get stolen, let them try and flee in a 5-cylinder, rather than my beloved 100 series.

On the weekend, I drive my LC exclusively. If anyone were to so much as mention, 'road trip,' I'll offer to drive and fill up the back with a cooler.

My only complaint about driving my LC is I hate being caught in start/stop traffic in it, so that's why I tend to save it during the week..

While I purchased my LX not to be a DD, that is what it has become. Prior, I drove an Infiniti M45 and also kept a 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that was my first car. When someone totalled my M, I ended up getting the LX, but was finally ready to let go of my Wagoneer. This was mostly due to how absurdly valuable the Meep has become which affects insurance premiums and the like. I got the LX with 70,000 miles in April and am coming up on 90K. Been superlative in this capacity.

Bought our 2003 Hundy about a year and a half ago. It was a one owner, 70-some thousand miles IIRC. The owners had it parked outside their place of business with a for sale sign in it. :hhmm:

I bought it almost in a knee jerk fashion. Kinda like; see it, buy it. :D

I didn't like it all that much at first. :frown: But, my :princess: liked it. As we have gone along, and solved the problems it had, I have come to like it more and more. :) Now, it is a DD for sure. I wish it got better mileage, but hey, what ya gonna do? :meh:

It has 86k on it now. Getting ready to do the water pump and timing belt replacement. Me and my two teen boys will be all over it! :wrench::wrench::wrench:

I bought the :princess: a '10 Sequoia, so this Hundy is sorta mine now. Pulled the running boards off it! :hillbilly:

My '04 is my DD. 14K per year.
12 Mile commute 4 days a week and a 200 mile commute 1 day a week. It's a true comfortable Utility Vehicle. Hauls my family of 6 on vacation, hauls my kids crap to college, pulls my trailers without issue. I wish I had two!

DD here, and dd'd by my dad before me. So my 98 was even daily driven by someone since new. Can't say it's never needed repair, but it hasn't stranded anyone in the first 270k. And that's even with extremely amateur mechanics "working" on it.

I drive my hundy once a week, usually just on the weekends to go to get groceries, but usually I just ride my bike... but since it is my only vehicle I guess it'd technically still be my DD (since there's no such thing as WD yet I'm assuming).

Love the stories.

Mine is not DD but still gets about 13k miles a year put on it, this year more like 20k with out 7k miles trip.

My DD e90 6mt 335i gets about 30k miles a year on it. Love both cars for different reasons.
