Great! Thank you for pointer, ordered

Are there any recommendations for the OE "crimp style" CV Clamps? These worm-gear clamps just seem "hacky" to me, am I missing a benefit?

@2001LC uses some clamps from NAPA that are similar to the OeM ones. Take a special clamp tool. I think people just do the worm drive clamps because they are easier.

When I replaced my drive shaft I tried reclamping it like Paul does with the Napa clamp and didn’t have much luck. It was just for practice since I had an entirely new shaft. But I probably just suck at doing this and don’t feel like getting better

No way, not hacky. Every OEM crimped one I have had (inluding on new OEM axles) leaked. I have a 2.5" lift, the crimped ones eventually will leak, and you can't just give them a twist of the screw to tighten them a tad. Rolled edge (not straight cut, cheap) screw clamps are THE way to go.

Just had to pick some of the smaller guys up for my 100. McMaster's website sucks, could only order ten, and shipping was prohibitively expensive.

Found these by typing in the size range I needed in mm (25-40mm for small and 100-120 for large) as well as "German worm gear clamp" as keywords and found the following which I am going to use:

Amazon product ASIN B07C2ZZQYK

That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing. Agreed the McMaster Carr ordering option is terrible unless you want a million of them.

Any feed back on how the Amazon ones work? Do they stay tight?
