Pretty sure I've now got 4 x one piece hub cap rims. Anyone know if the Australian market were all 16" or some were 15" or..? I've only seen one in the flesh, another is a week away and the other two are a 3 hour drive - but worth it (but don't know if they'll all match).

Hold your head high cult hold your head high, you have joined the elite well not fixed top 45 elite but still haha

I don't know about anyone else but I think those 16" one piece rims look better then splits, I think Toyota should have keep them as a option as they dont have a lock ring to rust out

We did get 15" one piece rims on early 40/45s but pretty sure they didn't have hubcap

And it was the right price! $0

Cult old cobber, I don't want to be a downer on this glorious day but I think that is a Chevy rim.

Your not the first to make that mistake I found a old set of rusty wheels in a shed once I had quite grin until I realised what they were haha

Wha..?? Faaaaaaark!

Say it ain't so!

So you're concerned about the Chevy rims you want to put on your Holden powered Toyota?

Lol go raptor line something.

Yeah?

Presents! Though at $119 for the swivel kit both sides and $80 something for the wheel bearings per side it came in a little more than I expected. Is there a cheaper way out of this or should I just bite the bullet? The original bearings seem good.

Also, note the two different PN's in the one wheel bearing kit?

Also, is all this interchangeable with disc stuff or would I just get a complete disc front later on?

Far out, end of the world must be approaching, I've got a new job and your talking disc brakes!

Not 100% but I think TT put different part numbers on things depending on which side its going on, even if its the same part ( bearings and such).

It's because they're different size bearings...different I.D to suit the spindle.
Have also got a set of 5 split rims with hubcap clips I want to get rid of. PM me if you're interested
Loving the build too!

But they're 16"??

I'll have to check again, but! last time I tried to put one on a hj75 to see how it would look it hit the calliper, same for the early spilt rims without the raised rib

I'll check again on the weekend if no one else chimes in

Damn those rims look sweet! They over discs?

Congrats on the job sneak! And I've got a proper build planned, not a farm hack 253/3 speed rat with no brakes lol.

Thanks for the offer of the rims stump. I'm probably okay for splits, got a line on a set of one piece ones.

Cat, I hope you're wrong..

Well cult I hope I am too, as I was thinking of running the early type splits on my 1972 with disc front end

Andrews520 very nice indeed, so you have converted to discs, can you show what you have done with the master cylinder/booster setup please
