Good job Dad!

Where is he going to be stationed?

He is doing his A school right up the road here in Great Lakes, IL. He will graduate from there in March of 2014. Then he will be stationed in Virginia for the next part of his training.

:clap:

What a proud moment in time that picture shows.
Funny, one of my first jobs after high school was working at the Great Lakes Navy Exchange . First I worked at the store then the warehouse

In the process of installing my new longer "L" OME sport shocks, we found the last remaining seal/gasket that hasnt been ever replaced was finally leaking: The upper and lower oil pans.

It was only a matter of time....

Nice!^^^

Road to work Tuesday am;

30 poles, 15 blown to the East, 4 standing, then 15 blown to the West...

2 Miles away; everything on our property was flattened from the North. We had 3 semi trailers that the landing gear slid South 12+ inches (thank God they didn't go over as before)..

Holy mother of God. What street is that? I came home from the airport area on Monday night and found Golf Links littered with tree debris, but seemed to have missed the 60mph winds and rain.

Made me *very* glad I was in the LC, and had recently replaced the wiper arms with 4runner ones with springs that actually touched my windshield.

KABOOM

While out for a drive last weekend I came across this tree or what was left it it. Have seen plenty of trees that have been hit by lightening but never one like this. The top was blown of from the point where the lightening struck. From that point down is was total destruction. It happened so fast that trunk split apart before the branches to fall. A couple of them ended up inside the split truck. The tree trunk that got scarred by a piece of the shrapnel I paced off at least 50'. I found another piece that was close to 200' away. I would have loved to see this happen, of course from a least a hundred yards away with headphones and sun glasses on.:rolleyes:
