I want to be nice, but I have the same reaction. Wimpy gun. Even my .22 would poke a hole in the metal.
But in the matter of body repair, this is not the best. Trying to straighten and repaint the spot will be hard. It might be better to put something over the spot. I have heard that some people are selling fake gunshot magnets. Oh! but you have a real one!
