Driver's side again. This took a few trims.

Big ups, 5. Thanks, again. Your LC setup is by far my fav.

P.S. I got a quote from Connor at Offroad Outlaw - awesome contact. I wish I lived in the OC so they can do the work!

Doing some more research here and could use some help.

5for runs the Method Double Standard wheels with the +18 offset in 18x9s per his sig.

I actually prefer to run the Method NVs with the same sized Toyo AT2 325/60/18s.

My question is, will the NVs *fit like* 5for's Double Standards as there are no equivalent specs? Method only offers one 5-bolt 18" NV: 18x9, 5x150mm, +25. I believe 5for's Double Standards are 5x5, +18.

His LC's front end view:

So if I go for the NVs, it'll sit in-board by about 1/4" compared to 5for's setup above?

Question for 5for: Does the rear wheel/tire sit further (poke) out than the fronts or same or less?

They don't look any different to me. If they are it's beyond my ability to measure.

I'm obviously not an expert at attaching photos, but here's another.

To be honest, if anything, the front looks wider than the rear, although the mudflaps might have something to do with the optics.

No problem...I don't know why my pics are posting that way...never did before. How did you rotate them? Sorry - technophobe.

on my mac, all i did was save your handy pics to desktop, rotated them to the right, and voila. :)

i just ordered all the parts. i have some questions for conner though. i'm hoping icon sends the front coilovers adjusted at the recommended height (yours). i don't want to wear out my cv boots and other bits prematurely if i can help it.

rolling stock is killing me. it looks SO boring. your LC must get tons of onlookers.

I'll try that next time - been posting directly from the phone.

Boring or not, you should post some pics for the "before".

I don't know about looks from others, but I do know I can't stop looking at it. Night and day from stock, both the looks and the ride.

Never crossed my mind.

Why is it illegal?

In the AT tire world, I'm having a hard time finding a 3XX width tire that stays within the 33" range. They're 34s+ which would require more lift, more trimming, more mods which I don't want to do.

5for's setup is so aesthetically perfect it's ridiculous.

Just my use case... and limited google research. :)

Possible to figure out how invasive the cutting and trimming was to get these to fit? They're at least 1.5" wider than most setups I've seen on this forum with a 13" section width. I'm guessing it was more than just plastic being cut? Thanks.

I wasn't there for the trimming, so posts #101, 102, and the two above are the best I can do.

Might consider having your Toyota dealer or trustworthy wrench to verify what was done. Make sure everything is kosher. Safety first!

Does it look to you guys like any metal or fabrication work was done here?

I'm not sure why I put 18mm in my sig.

Fixed.

Never crossed my mind.

Why is it illegal?

We can put on 8% larger than stock.

Larger is not possible here in Switzerland, far i know ;)

Too bad, because it looks nice!

I would gladly trade the "look" for the possibility of adventuring like you. The posts about the Africa trip, both here and on Expedition Portal, we're inspirational. :steer:
