going back a few threads... I have a stock land cruiser and I get 20mpg setting it on cruise control at 80mph this is a pretty consistent number as I have own the LC since Oct 2012 and now have 21,000 on it still getting 20mpg every time we take road trips.
If we are climbing elevation... as when we came back home from death valley 290 feet below sea level back to Salt lake city 4300 feet above see level I got 17.5 mpg. I think the stock Michelin tires have low rolling resistance though
Once the tread wears out I think I will be getting some Dura Trac 275/70r18 and Slee rock sliders.
