Hi Bill, Jim and I are taking care of selling the t-shirts, but we will also be there to help out with the take down and set up of anything else.
Lindsay

Thanks Lindsay & Jim:
I was thinking we can display the raffle prizes at our T-Shirt booth. I'll be there signing up new members. I believe Phil is bringing his tent thing, I'm not sure about tables though. I'll bring a couple of folding chairs. Who is supplying the music? I have all the prizes now: a great BBQ, chainsaw, JackAll, splitting axe, dual burner propane camp stove, family bug tent, small grinder, 1,000,000 candlepower lantern, Waterloo rolling tool cabinet, single hiker stove, portable multi-diode trouble light, and possibly a few items I've forgotten about by now. Man, I love shopping for hardware!

1,000,000 candle power???

thats not a flashlight!

THIS is a flashlight!

15,000,000 candle power baby!

In the second picture, you see that hanger wayyyyy across the 2 fields? This baby lights that suckah up!:grinpimp:

The little silver 'toyota' unit is a windup LED unit we got with one our last services. If the local Toyota dealerships ante up like last year, I predict they will be the hot item, much like the cooler bags were.

Hey guys thought pop in. dont get out your way much. last years show was great. I hope to make it this year. I live in agassiz so very close to clear creek if you need some scouting help. there are some parts of the old trail left to do that are fun.

Sunday Trail Run

Meet with Gar and got the details of the Camp and trail run. Camp is going to be at Hale Creek. We will be leaving Hale Creek at 10AM sharp! Sunday and working our way throw to the south side of Chehalis Lake(Scenic Route) from there we will be looping to North Statlu FSR and back down to Can Opener area.

Dan may be leading a second group from Hale Creek taking a direct route to Chehalis and down to the Can Opener area for those interested.

Both groups will be meeting up in the Can Opener area before leaving throw Deroche??? Or Inch Creek. Hopefully giving everyone a chance to have some fun.

As always these plans are cast in mud and might change a bit between now and then.

is that pic taken heading down to the 'boulder crawl' where that big pile of crud has it blocked off at the top of the hill on the main road?
There was some plans in place to attempt to remove the large logs or cut a path thru/over them at the bottom of the hill to access the boulder crawl. But it just hasnt happened yet.

T-shirt Sales

Hey, I wanted to ask the club, if Jim and I need to supply the cash float for the t-shirt sales, or if the club will like last year? I have a cash box we can use. Feel free to PM jim or I, or reply to this post. We're picking them up tonight.
Thanks, Lindsay

Hey Guys, I live in Vancouver and am a TLCA member but not Coastal Cruisers. I would like to drop in on Saturday to check out the goings on... if that's OK. Maybe I missed it bit I didn't find where the event is being held. I figured out it is Surrey but am not sure where.

Thanks.

I believe it is at North Surrey Secondary School.

15945 96th Ave, Surrey, BC..

Berni and I will have to cancel again this year as we have to get ready for the sept long here in Alberta.

Greg_B recomended that this would be a good event to meet and greet. Is there anything that I should bring? Do I need to purchase tickets? This will be the first time for me... any tips would be most appreciated :bounce:

had a great time,

even got to put a few faces to some names (and mud nicknames).

glad we could make it this year, maybe next year will show a few more of the "VI crew".

just a couple from today.

cheers
