Cruiser Crap center console?

I searched the 60 series forums, and nothing came up. Anybody have anything to say? Good or bad?
I have a 62 with a rear heater underneath...
Should I go Tuffy or is this better? Sure looks nice

I recently purchased and installed the Cruiser Crap Console in my 60 and love it. Very solid construction! You have options if you want to run extra switches in the console. I love the 4 cup holders (front and rear) as well as the hidden compartment (bottom back drawer that slides out). If I had to do it over again I would purchase another one!

I have one in my 40 series. It's a awesome console-very well built, lots on cool functions. Some of the install is in my build thread of my 40.

You don't have to utilize the rear cup holders if you don't want to.

I just installed the cruiser crap console in my 60 and love it. Back cup holders dont prevent back seat from folding up. Technically it's for 40 but drilled a few holes and used a square bracket to install in factory mount holes and works fine.

It’s rad. I have a 83 FJ60 with a 62 center console. I mounted to the top of the console/front rail.

Favorite things are: arm rest, options to the front, combo vs key lock, clever layout/hidden storage.

It clears, no problem. I’ll be in the shop tomorrow and see if I can get some photos.

They are tough as well my 3 year old steps on them to get into his car seat.

yep. Just mounted it right on top with a homemade squared off upside down U shaped bracket. Remind me in a week when I get my truck back and I can send you pics. Looks stock from the front and above, and from behind you have to look pretty hard to see any custom work

Turns out transfer cases take longer when parts aren’t available. I’ll have it within 2 more weeks. I haven’t forgotten!

Very Nice! That looks exactly like the CruiserCrap Console that I installed on my 60. Nice work. I gotta say I dig mine so I’m sure you will enjoy as well!!

Didn’t have to mod it at all. Just added 3 pieces of 1” tubing for the console to clear the newly bent heater switch. Removing the rear heater on my 62 just to add a console made no sense to me. I added some left over kilmat to the tubing ensure there wasn’t any metal on metal clanking noise. The console from wildhorses is the same tuffy one that cruisercrap sells. I couldn’t get a hold of cruisercrap and the wildhorses guys were responsive, had it in stock ready to ship and a little cheaper. Really love how everything turned out with the Procar Elites and that console. Was going to go with used BMW seats but couldn’t see spending a few hundred less on used seats with over 100k miles of wear.
