Well my truck is on its way! Had some snafus with the original trucking arrangement and my truck is going out without the other two cruisers. Aaron's truck and Greg's 80 left yesterday on a different carrier. Long story to be related at Moab!

I'm flying into Denver Sunday, getting a rental car and headed for Glenwood Springs for the night gonna meet some friends there. Should be in Moab sometime around noon/early afternoon Monday. Can't wait!

I did not register with enyone.

Is it just me or does that Dodge pickup look low in the back?

Just a little!!
There's some weight on there that's for sure!!

I thought the same thing...probably 11K pounds of truck up there. He'll counter balance it with a Yugo on the rear:rolleyes:

That Dodge looks like it needs some air bags to level it out. I wish I were able to join you all, but I made the right choice by not going. HAL decided to lay me off after 21 years of service, so my first priority is to find employment. If you know of anyone who needs an application compliance analyst let me know! Please post up some pictures and trail reports for all of us stuck back here. Enjoy the trip guys!

Sorry to hear that HAL let you go Dave. Have you considered a Fed job watching over those slimed development contractors?

Hey Bob, I'm considering the Gov route, but want to try private industry first. You retired yet? Most of the jobs I have found are out the toll road. Not sure I can take on the kind of commute you have been doing for years.

I'm finally retiring effective June 1 but I don't think my boss has accepted it yet.

Have you considered FDA or NIH? CMS and SSA aren't that close but you should be going against traffic.

Well the big day is here! Steve and Chris are headed West today, right? Keep us informed as to your progress hope you guys have an uneventful and enjoyable drive across the country. I bet you'll think you're never gonna get across Kansas and eastern Colorado!

Did you stop to see the World's Largest Ball of String or the World's Deepest Hand-Dug Well? They are the most exciting attractions in Kansas other than the sluts at KU.

I lived in Kansas for 10 years (seemed like much longer).

It was impressive watching you guys pull all this together.

Have an awesome time and safe travels!

I look forward to the daily updates:beer:

Chris and Steve texted that they were in Ohio this afternoon, and Steve had trouble with axle studs coming loose. No major damage and I guess they pulled over to check them all. I think they are back on the road.

Bob and I land late morning Monday in Denver. We should arrive before dark to the campground Monday night if everything goes as planned. What are we doing for wheeling Tuesday?
