Perused the registration form and I'm hoping this is just a bug but there are no level 6 or 7 trails available for sign up on Thursday or Friday. Is this just a bug or is this really true?

Guess those of us on the west coast are going to need to get up VERY EARLY then. :D

Good point. I suppose to make everything fair, maybe we should publish a time (like noon mountain time or something) so everyone has a good shot at getting the trails they want?

I will say in years past, it is typically a couple of days before the first trails fill up, and around several weeks before the entire event fills up. We will have 170 spots this year. At my first Cruise Moab in 2000, we only allowed 120.

I just tested and they are all showing up. The code will not let you sign up unless you have 34+ inch tires and locked front and rear. Or just rear for the 6s I think. But I know the code won't let you sign up for trails that we don't think your rig can do.

Please note that anyone who signs up before registration is open will be disqualified and have to go to the back of the line.

This just in! I pinged our team about the potential for issues with left coast attendees having to worry about having to wake up at O-dark thirty to register for Cruise Moab 2013 Monday morning. The reply to my suggestion that we open up at Noon Mountain time was met with a "Sure we can do that". So that is when the race will begin this year!

Informational - for the past several years, even the most popular trails haven't filled up for at least a couple days, and the whole event normally takes a couple weeks to fill up. We have space this year for 170 attendees. Over the last couple years, the two overnight runs we do, Kokopelli and the San Rafael Swell have filled up fast. Those two runs will be in the front of your registration pathway. Look them over and decide if those are what you want to do..

Just made my reservations at Slickrock CG, double tent site 136. I see someone has site 135 reserved for the same dates so must be another Cruiserhead.

For those using their reservation system for the first time here's a tip. When you select the type of site and dates you might get a response that site is full. Just try another site number. Also take a look at the map first and pick a site. Suggest staying away from the entrance because of heavy traffic.

Another tip on making reservations, instead of cabins number 1 and number 2 being our headquarters this year, we will have our headquarters in the big lot just South of Slickrock, where we set up the giant circus tent, This year we plan to have safety inspections, registration, merchandise sales, trail changes, evening festivities and everything else there. So, the farther south you are in the campground, the closer you'll be to the center of the universe.

^ that's a great improvement Jeff. Kudos to all who made that happen!

I'm signed and paid. Now I'm officially a prepper.

Where is the best place at the campgrounds to stay if you have a military trailer with a RTT and some kids?

Slickrock Campground has lot of CM attendees with military trailers, RTTs and kids. I have no idea if it is the "best", but you will certainly find that combination there every year.

i just reg.

looking foward to my frist run with toyotas! (I have done many with heeps i mean jeeps!

i understand Moab (on the trails) is not dog friendly?
