Could someone send me a diagram of how the cruise control hose routings and such or direct me to where to find them on the web. This is an 88 FJ62 and I believe its factory installed cruise control. Mine has some of the hoses disconnected.

For what's its worth I found the draw off the vacuum system adversely effected my brakes. I believe mine was a dealer install- not factory. Sorry- no pics.

JMHO

The cruise control in the 1988 FJ62 we owned from 1990 to 2008, had an Audiovox aftermarket unit. It was replaced by a local aftermarket shop in 2000, using a similar Audiovox model. When we bought our 2nd FJ62 in 2005, we got an identical NIB Audiovox cruise.

I've never seen a stalk-type actuated cruise system on any FJ62 advertised on eBay = only the switch pad on dash type.

I would think Audiovox should have a vacuum hose diagram on the WWW.

FWIW: This cruise performed OK on KS' many flat roads, but wouldn't maintain speed on any significant hill. The 2nd unit was no better & soon wasn't functioning.

I would guess that IF Toyota had offered an OEM unit it would have functioned better.
