We moved the Tellico trip to March. Plugging in Country Fried Weekend for MLK. I've been going to this event for the past 3 Years. Rick got me hooked. Basically they rent out an entire campground. We have free reign. Every night they have a big fire and I mean big. Friday your on your own. Sat people group up and go riding the Forestry Service Roads in the area. There is easy and moderate. Nothing hard. It's just a great excuse to get out in the woods and have fun. Last year we brought the canopy and wrapped it up in a tarp and put a heater inside. Was nice and toasty inside.

For the past 3 years I have taken the girls and we have gone into Dahlonega, GA which is about 15 min away and had lunch and done the mine tour with them panning for gold and emeralds. Has been a lot of fun.

So all this being said who is down for going?

I'm still probably out. This month is looking like a crazy one for me. Not sure if I'll have any free weekends. I'll be hitting it back hard after January hopefully.

It's fun. Went last year and had a blast despite the cold. Can't make it this year, but will definitely be looking for the dates on the March trip.

I'm out, just got back in town tonight and just found out have to head to Charlotte monday morning for 3 days so I won't make it this year.

I can't stay gone anywhere all weekend this time. I'm making a day trip down to Gulches with the ONSC crew most likely. I should be in for the Tellico trip though.

My youngest has a stomach bug.... Otherwise, I'd try to make this one.

We are coming for the day, let me know where the trail ride is!
