looks good man i think i have decided on old man emu 2.5 medium and 35 toyos thanks guys

I did when they were made in Japan but not now. They are not the same quality tire. Plus performance v what the km2 is not is even in the same league with daily use.

Just what I have seen in the last few years in and around the tire biz.

I could really tell the difference between the JPN made Nitto's ( made by toyo) and the USA made to avoid the 25% tax. The JPN wear like iron not so much on US.

Just trying to give the young one out. The savings could pay for a spring or castor bushings.

If they were before the last year then they were Japan. They started making them in late 09 in US.

Michelin makes a good tire for all there brands.

Plus Price needs to get that Rover.

i was wanting the toyos cuz they wear so good and are true 2 size from what i have read but what would yall recomnd for a true 35 inch tire

Goodyear MTR Laces out!

What do you want the tires to do?

Every tire runs differently per size. But .02 of an inch is not able to been seen to a naked eye plus it more depends on the truck weight and psi to determine the height. Lighter and more air is going to equal a taller tire.

I feel like I'm still at work.

okay thanks guys

I finally went and fetched the tires, springs, and shocks from yamapro. Then the 30mm spacers came in right on time, so I decided it was time to put 'em all on. Got the front end done with little effort, though doing it for the first time was more work than I'd initially thought. I pulled a hose loose on the ds front (while trying to get the axle low enough to get the shock out) that didn't leak anything, and appeared to push back in without issue. Other than that, and the realization that I'm no longer 20, it was okay.

Now, the back end was a different story. The top nut on both sides was so stuck that I relented and called the tire place I usually use. They charged me $10 to loosen the bracket bolts that the shocks tie into on the rear uppers. They were not able to loosen the shock nuts without breaking them, and so plan is to remove the whole deal, grind off the old shocks if necessary, and install the new.

I was gonna call in reinforcements (I'm looking at you, finewynsFJ40 and southff4), but at the perfect moment my 6 year old daughter managed to screw up my iPhone badly enough that I had to do a restore on it, and lost both numbers. Woe was me.

So, anyone crazy enough to want to wrench for a while some time this week is welcome to come down and lend advice on how the back should be done... since it looks more technical than the fronts. I'm mostly concerned about screwing up a brake line, etc.

Don't discount the Goodyear MTRs with Kevlar...they're awesome!

Way to dive right in!!

Just trash the old shocks. Get that off any way you can. If you have to have them burned off, do it.

The hose you pulled off in the front was probably the differential breather hose. That is a common thing.

Whew, good to know!

I thought I'd seen pics of people doing a lift install on mud, but I can't find the thread. Anyone have better search skills than I do? Just a lot more **** back there that can get jacked up, I'm a bit hesitant.
