Oh man, I am so sorry about this. I feel bad. If I had stayed out of it, you would have sent them to Kirk and they would be done. Why don't we get them in FEDEX Ground TO Iron Pig and get them to do a quick turn-around. There is still 13 days. Ground to VA is only 3 days.

It is what it is. If this the worst thing to happen to me this week, I'll take it.
I deal with this kind of s*** everyday of the week.
Pat will get with Iron Pig Monday and get the right parts. Humpty Dumpty will get back together so Jrob can have his shop back. Glad I'm not paying rent.

Good thing about gears is that you know immediately if something is wrong. So no extended time behind the wheel needed.
Rob had a time with his gears... Mine was a fiasco too. I would send them off to kirk. Nothing against pat, but kirk has alot more experience and may be worth the piece of mind.

Make sure to get the Heavy Duty pinion seal !

they make it for the rear diff. They may make it for front by now. I believe marlin makes it and kirk sells it. Only seal that stopped my pinion from leaking.

From marlins site:

I got the carpet out of the Maroon 80....interior is about 95% perfect in this truck and the coffee stains on the carpet just made it look dirty. It was not too bad of a job....4 bolts per seat. It will be a bit harder to tuck it all back in though.

Got a big box of OEM parts today from ACC. I will be busy on this thing for a few days.

Can I send you my difs as "spares" to take, Chris and Deb? They're locked!

Yeah, I'm curious myself.
I set up my last front R&P myself. One of those jobs that takes forever, but pretty straight-forward.

Oh, and Lendog, the best for sealing a pinion seal lip around the housing is 3M "yellowdamnit"

Pat's text from last night

"We are in a mess on these a mess on these thirds"

Talking about frt 3rd

"Correct. This diff has two different size carrier bearing and kit doesnt"

Kit numbers from Iron Piggy

"Front
IK TOYV6.
Toyv6;LC REV. 90-06 master

Rear
IK TOYLC-L
Toy LC 90-97 rear w/locker"

"I think rear is correct just not enough shims."

There you are boys Mud Drama to the 10th Power. Me involved in tech! Horrors!!!

Ready for Monday to get here for the next chapter.

Oh hell. If that's the only issue, I have extra shims and carrier bearings. I learned long ago to buy extra bearings just in case.
