Making sure I don't let my overland points/creds dip too low...

I thought you had a drawer system already. What is your plan for it?

I do. Was two drawers side by side, and I removed one and replaced with a fridge slide when on a trip.

Problem is I then had to find a place for all the stuff in the drawer I took out. Never liked doing that.

So im reworking it and doing two drawers stacked on the right, and a drawer/fridge slide combo on the left. Hopefully it will turn out ok.

Or you could head West. I know a dude with a cabinet shop.

Andy you are killing yourself with that 3/4 inch stuff. Get some 1/2 baltic birch

Old system was 3/4 and I'm reusing a lot of it so 3/4 it is...

Sure do wish I knew someone with a 100 that had a cabinet shop that could crank out some drawer system awesomeness...

Where is the best place to source this material? Does Lowes carry it? Is it lighter than pine board and 1/2 in plywood?

My lowe's carries a thickness between 1/2 and 3/4 supposedly, but the baltic birch is either never in stock or they just don't carry it anymore...

Honestly i think the bones of the system need to be thicker than 1/2". Bottom, top, vertical supports, etc. Everything else could be 1/2" though. Maybe that's over engineering it a tad, but the current system lasted 5 years without a single issue. And even using the 3/4" stuff it weighs less than the 3rd row seats that came out.
