Since I'm copying @ntsaint 's original design and will use it as a sleeping platform, what does everyone does for a mattress or pad? I never liked the inflatable versions when I was a boy scout and I doubt I would like them now in my 30s.

I found a single bed sized folding pad I may try with a sleeping bag.

Little more progress. Going slow learning all this on the fly.

Have to rebuild the verticals on the main fridge drawer so I can box in the bottom, add some strength.

Then it's just square and recess te drawer faces and she's ready for finish coat.

Is anyone here using a Delorme InReach or a SPOT type GPS device? If so any feedback?
I've got an InReach SE. Bought it before our last AR trip so really haven't used it much. It pairs with the iPhone for use with the texting app, so that's a big plus. It takes a little while to get used to the delay, and it pretty much has to have an unobstructed view of the sky...it wouldn't transmit or receive in the tree cover we were in most of the days on the last trip but worked fine at the camp sites.

Holler if you want to try it out on one of your upcoming trips. I'm sending it to AK with @wct49.

Looks Great! Before you line it I would recommend adding power receptacles one of the handiest things I did on ours

Thx. Wiring is already there for all my LED lighting and two power receptacles, just haven't cut it in yet. It will go on the right side trim piece.

That is where I put mine great minds think alike!
