Damn! Uni mogs are sweet! Can't wait to see what kinda work goes into that bumper. You doing anything to the bed? Some sweet Aussie style flip downs would be kind of cool kind of what aev did with their original prospector concept .

Rich,
Glad to see your business taking off! Well deserved, keep up the amazing work!

Ben.

Rich, Ill gladly add to the praise everyone else has given you in this thread and say these bumpers are awesome! I love every one of them with there little custom touches.
That being said, I have to at least ask if there is any possibility you would do a 70 series front bumper? I tried to search and didnt find any mention of it. I am looking for something similar to the looks of your light duty 80 series bumper. I understand the demand is way less than the 80 and 60 series are so I wont blame you if it wouldnt make sense to do, but again, I had to ask. :)

thanks,
Handsel

We are currently going over the design intent for this one. but yes bumpers are on the list as is some cab work. and the rear area is still in decision phase.

Thanks Ben . My local work has picked up greatly. And its not all the same vehicle type which is nice , keeps things different and exciting with new challenges. I have some upcoming commision work for a local custom furniture maker too which is pretty cool and different .
Costa Fabrications first import vehicle just landed on U.S. soil and has cleared customs and is in New York, i should have it by Friday. this is a vehicle i will be outfitting and offering for sale. stay tuned...

And thanks!

Rich

Well that was silly of me to think you could just use your imagination of how it would fit hahaha. Ill deal with my TJM for now, then if im on your coast, or if you happen to find a 70 series lying around in your driveway lets do it.

Got my front bumper this last week. Haven't taken the bumper completely out of the box yet, so I don't have any better pics than Rich posted earlier. It could be a couple of more weeks before I have time to get it out, paint it, and get it on the 80, but I wanted to at least get a couple shots up. Can't say enough about the work that goes into this. The attention to detail and continuous improvement is outstanding.

FYI, the box fit in the back of an 80 with the gate down, but I was so excited to get it out when I got home I forgot to take a pic...

Rich,
I just binge read this entire thread. I am glad you over came your sickness. It's a real kick in the junk to be down like that at sucha pivtol time for your companies growth.

I started reading your thread to borrow ideas to fab up my own bumpers for my 86' FJ60. It's hard to fathom that my novice level skill set and lack of sweet tools( plasma cutting table and tig welder) being able to fabricate at the level of awesome that you're putting out. Every detail is carefully crafted and seen to as if you were putting it on your own show rig. That level of dedication and attention to detail is so far and few between these days. In this time of the gimmie gimmie generation and instant gratification America, your product is leaps and bounds ahead of the mass produced stuff out there ready for purchase at big name store fronts out on the webs.

Your ideas are very original and seriously cool, while being very functional. I know that the prices your asking are very modest and that your product rates it and more. I don't know if I can find the extra cash to come up with $3k+ for front and back bumpers for my 60( if you ever decide to produce them), but if you do(and i can scrounge the coinage) I will be hounding you for some. I have other ideas I would like to add into similarly designed, stream line and sexy bumpers like your putting out.

I look forward to following this thread. ( in hopes of some 60 series goodies :) )

Best of luck to you and your business. You have serious talent you are putting to good use.

Fred

Hey Fred thanks for the time you took to read through all this.. And thanks greatly for the kind words. And the 60 series stuff is coming as my baby is patiently waiting her turn for bumpers, roof rack and sliders along with some rear wheel well work and fresh paint, she's faded some since these pics. I just got tail lights and new suspension bushings to put in.
