Nice 60 Rich.... :) Here is mine as she still sits. I have just got in rear 1/4 patches from the Netherlands and will get busy on some body work soon. Mine also needs some fresh paint after the body work is done. Still debating to go original or redo it with a tinted to match as close as possible bed liner style coating. Ingrid looks really nice as she sits now... How hi is the lift shes sitting with?

If i remember correctly they were 5" alcan Springs.

Ohhhh dang! Now you have a stable of some rad toys! I saw some dudes build in like maylaysia or Thailand can't remember...... he had one of those, super cool vehicle. Have fun!!!!

A close friend of mine has two pinz'
one is a 6x6 gasser and the other is a 6x6 6 cylinder aircooler diesel with auto transmission that saw action in the gulf war....it rides and drives like a car...I told him I want dibs on it if he ever sells it

Cold War Remarketing.com sells Pinzgauers and parts located in Englewood, CO. (303)346-8462 Have to get down there to test drive one.

Id be supprised if they have a 718 6x6 or 716 (4x4)turbo diesel . i called all around the US before looking outside. they all told me their hard to find and if they did it would cost me $50-60k now for military condition. probably would need tires and such . mine was from a private collection and is in excellent condition with 7 brand new BFG's. These newer pinz's are a completely different animal than the gas versions that are common here now. The 718 is actually a pleasure to drive. has real heat, power steering !! disc brakes all around automatic transmission and gets around 20mpg according to its previous owner . its not like driving a piece of farm equipment like the gas versions. dont get me wrong i love the 710 and 712 petrol versions for what they are. but if your goal was to build a vehicle capable of global travel these newer variants are hard to beat. i cant wait to start building it..
you should definitely test drive one. there a lot of fun! keep your thumbs out of the wheel!!

Is the Pinz for a customer or for your personal collection? What year is it?

If for resale... I might be in the market...

Its a 1988 (28 years young and EXEMPT) I bought it to build and sell. Costa Fabrications is going to be doing Custom vehicle builds as well now (Could be anything). Ill be importing building and selling as well as my custom commission work. Its something I've been wanting to do for a while now..
The game plan with the pinz is to mildly outfit it and develop some unique product as well as offer the chance for a full commissioned build if someone or some company wishes to have so done to their specifications..

Feel free to pass the vehicle and my info along to any serious potential buyers as she is for sale.

@RDC76 , just be sure to give us a heads up before you back out of the lowly FJ80 bumper building business. I gotta get me one before you move on to bigger better things! The new projects look awesome!
