Switch to RED coolant and save money on coolant and FIPG?

I just decided to go with the 1282B - hoping I won't have to do it again...
Even if you have to redo it, it is only that one small housing on top of the engine.
I used Right Stuff and let it cure overnight before adding coolant. The Toyota stuff is just too expensive for my taste considering you only need a small amount. I've used Right Stuff for years on my Rovers and never had an issue.
Ive asked a few Toyota dealer service shops and they didnt stock or use the 1282B. They used the 103 black. Just one other reason dealer service doesn't always mean best practice.
Especially for us DIY guys its spendy to buy a tube for a 4” schmear every 100k. But if you have a long term hold, and like to do it by the book, use the 1282B.

I bought the correct sealant for mine BUT since my water inlet snapped off 
.....I didn't have to use the sealant because the new style inlet comes with the seal already in place.
