Hey guys first post and new to the cruisers and Toyota in general. I recently picked up a 93 fjz80 and spent a few weeks getting it road worthy (totaled in low speed offset headon) so lots of body damage and damaged radiator.

I searched and searched but no luck.

First question: I picked up a parts 92 with the (3fe?) and used the all brass radiator to replaced the cracked plastic one in the 93. It had no nipple for the water bypass hose no. 3, so I just plumbed it into the heater core lines. However looking at it wouldn't it be doing the exact same thing as the outlet does? What's the purpose of this line and can I just deadhead it with a bolt?

2nd question: radiator is seeping under pressure leaving a few drops of coolant every time I park. It's seeping from the brazed seam after it reaches operating temps, but no other heat related issues. Think I can clean it up and use some epoxy or jb weld on it? Or should I braze it? Picture isn't the best but you can see it's been leaking a while from the discoloration
