It's time to upgrade my welder from fluxcore to gas; where is the best place to get the gas tank locally, and where is the cheapest place to get my shielding gas filled?

I'm cheap, so I run straight CO2. It's about 1/2 the cost per tank and last ten times longer than argon/co2 mix. And it burns hotter, which is nice for a 110 machine.

I get mine refilled at a fire extinguisher shop.

i need a sandblaster (place, not tool) to clean up a rusted out trailer wheel that @wngrog sold me.

Any body know of a good place?

I just bought one from HF. I'm still trying to work out the bugs. I'm interested if you find someone local; I might wa t to get my body blasted on the 40.

I got my setup at Nexair off Hwy 80 in Pearl. I shopped around at a few places and that was the cheapest. If I remember correctly my cylinder is an 80cf and I'm running c75 (75% argon, 25% CO2). The whole deal was a little under 200 bucks (I bought the cylinder instead of renting it) and I think it costs around 25 bucks to refill. I've done a decent bit of welding since I got it a little over a year ago and I'm just a little under half full.

Thanks. I was looking at them too. I thought about buying a small cylinder on CL or the like.

Wish he would have parked that 20,000 lb truck on his ass wicked witch of the east style.

He pancaked the dude between the Brinks truck & getaway vehicle. His leg was left dangling pretty bad.

Saw this cool cruiser today. "Follow the hound" adventure photography I think is what it says on the side.

Met these guys in Fondren this afternoon. The white 78 (hope that's right) is almost done getting a transmission rebuild at Mr. Transmission here in Jackson. Water under the bridge. @FollowTheHound is headed to NOLA in the next day or so when the truck is done. The yellow 75 needs an inner axle seal so I refereed them to @offr0adlim0 for that. Argentina. Holly s*** I'm jealous.

Can't wait to meet these guys in the AM. They will be back on the road and in New Oleans by supper.

7am
